Why schools should start later

Many people argue that schools should start later. In this article I am going to show you the pros and cons of having school start later.

Pros

· It improves students' mental and physical health.

· Students can academically perform better in class.

· It improves students' attendance and punctuality.

· Aligns teenagers' sleep patterns and allows them to sleep longer.

Cons

· Kids would be walking home in the dark.

· Teenagers would stay up longer.

· Students don't have time to do homework.

To me the time that school starts just brings me into a bad mood. And those were some of the pros and cons of making school start late.
